Blizzard announced Overwatch 2 in November 2019 at their annual Blizzcon event. I was planning to send them an internship application at the time and decided to accompany it with a speculative level design for one of the new game modes they announced. The gamemode is called Push and it works in a similar way to the dueling payload system in TF2. The payloads have some sentience though, which would make them a bit more interesting to play around.

Every Overwatch map is designed to accompany a certain hero or set of heroes. Seeing as the Dutch hero Sigma hadn't received a map yet and I have lived in The Netherlands for all my life, I decided to base the design on The Hague and traditional Dutch architecture in general.
